Transformers: The Movie Blu-ray Promotional Trailers Released

Earlier in the month Manga Entertainment UK announced it had teamed-up with American distributor Shout! Factory to release the 30th Anniversary Edition of Transformers: The Movie onto Blu-ray later this year and over the past few days the UK Distributor have released a selection of promotional videos highlighting what to expect from this new remaster.

For those unaware Transformers: The Movie has received numerous releases within the UK, starting with VideoGems original VHS release to TV Loonland/Metrodomes more recent ‘Ultimate Edition’ Blu-ray and DVD releases, and while each version offered something distinctively different, such as an improved picture or video quality, non of them have undergone a High Definition remastering process.

This new Blu-ray release by Shout! Factory however has undergone a 4K HD remastering process and as such the picture quality has been improved and colours have been restored to their natural state; something which has never been seen before. The result, as illustrated in these newly released promotional below, is outstanding and as a long-time Transformers fan I am looking forward to this Blu-ray release of the film.

Alongside the clip which illustrates and explains the process undergone with the film MangaUK, in conjunction with Shout! Factory, have released a trailer promoting the films upcoming release – which coincidentially isn’t until December within the UK. The trailer highlights some of the ‘improved qualities’ of the film as well as information that the Blu-ray will contain a whole selection of bonus features that have been created specifically for this 30th Anniversary Edition release.

Transformers: The Movie will be available as a Limited Edition Steelbook within the UK later this year and is currently available to pre-order from numerous retailers online.
