It’s been an extremely long-time-coming but UK Distributor Anime Limited have finally confirmed that the second half of Samurai Flamenco, otherwise known as Samurai Flamenco – Part 2, will be released as a Collector’s Edition Blu-ray on the 5th September 2016 within the UK.

Speaking out on the Anime Limited Blog this Collector’s Edition release will contain episodes 12 – 22 across two Blu-ray discs in a rigid chipboard packaging; a similar design to that of the previous Part 1 release – which has actually dropped to a reasonable price at a certain ‘second-hand-retailer’.  This collector’s edition release will also come with an artbook featuring artwork and information about the characters featured within this half of the series; all of which can be seen the tentative packshot illustration below.

It’s worth mentioning that Samurai Flamenco is a subtitle only release and as such the only audio option will be Japanese (with optional English Subtitles) and the reason for this is because an English Dub.

Anime Limited haven’t provided a definitive answer as to why this second half of Samurai Flamenco has taken ‘months’ to arrive but rumours do suggest that the first part of the series sold poorly so they were waiting for the right time to release it; or to some effect at least. In any event non of that really matters as the remaining episode of the series will be relesed on the 5th September 2016.
