After what feels like an eternity of silence SEGA of Europe have today provided new information on the European release of Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X and oddly enough there is some good news as well as some bad news; so let’s gret straight to it!
For starters the Japanese vocaloid rhythm game Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X will receive a playable demo on both the PS4 and PS Vita from the 9th August 2016 and the demo will also be compatible with Playstation TV (PS Vita TV) devices. As part of the demo players will be able to experience three songs, namely Satisfaction, LOL -lots of laugh-, and Raspberry * Monster, in Easy and Normal difficulty modes as well being able to unlock a variety of costumes for Hatsune Miku to wear for use within the songs.
In addition to the demo news SEGA went on to confirm that Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X will be released strictly as a digital download from the Playstation Network store within the UK and Europe and although SEGA of Europe did not confirm a release date a press release by SEGA of America suggest that the game would be released ‘at the same time’ within America and Europe. It’s also worth noting that while the Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X will receive a retail (physical) release in America as opposed to the UK which will just receive it as a digital download.
- Digital Singers Take Over the Living Room – Produce live concerts accessorized to the max with unlockable costumes, songs, and stages to create custom live concerts starring Hatsune Miku and her friends!
- 30 Miku Tracks – An assortment of new and classic Hatsune Miku music will be yours to jam to! The songs are split into Auras and have different difficulties and challenges to complete. Project DIVA X includes new arrangements and medleys by beloved artists as well.
