A.W. : Phoenix Festa To Receive a Western Release This Month on PS Vita

Publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment have today announced that A.W. : Phoenix Festa, a game based upon the popular The Asterisk War franchise, will be released onto the PS Vita as a digital download within the UK and Europe on the 26th July 2016.

As explained in the press release A.W. : PHOENIX FESTA takes place in a post-apocalyptic 20th century, whereby the Integrated Enterprise Foundation is formed to recover from devastation. The game itself, which is being released exclusively onto the PS Vita as a digital download, combines dating sim mechanics and combat in one game and features its own original storyline dug out the light novel series.

As part of the game players will be able to experience a challenging adventure with numerous endings and multiple outcomes and as such the game will allow players to play as Ayato or create their own original character who goes about daily school life by making friends and competing in the Phoenix Festa tournament. They will have to train themselves in order to increase their fight abilities as they prepare their participation in the Phoenix Festa tournament.

A.W. : Phoenix Festa will be released onto the PS Vita from the 26th July 2016 as a digital download from the Playstation Network Store. Those wishing to own a physical copy of the game may be interested to know that the game will be released into Asia during the same month and just like with Gundam Extreme VS Force and Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment it will contain support for full English text and subtitles.
