Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme VS-Force European Release Date Announced

It’s been a long time coming, and an announcement I have personally been waiting for; but publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment have today announced that Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme VS-Force will be released onto the PS Vita from the 12th July 2016.

The good news is that the game, which was initally released as a Japanese arcade game before being ported to playstation devices, will feature all previously released DLC Content in the game; the bad news however is that it will only be released as a digital download on the Playstation Network store. No pricing has been mentioned; but we can expect a £34.99 price tag.

In addition to the release date some new details have been revealed; for starters two new mobile suits will become playable within the game; namely V Gundam, which is piltoed by  Loran Cehack and specializes in close distance attacks as well as the Infinite Justice Gundam that is piloted by Athrun Zala and excels in mid-distance fights. Along with them, two new Wingmen will enter the game: Z’GOG and RICK-DIAS.

Furthermore, players will discover a newly implemented feature: the FORCE ATTACK. This special attack is exclusive to Force Commands and Battleships and can be used during Unit Battle Missions. Once the FORCE ATTACK gauge is full, players can use it to inflict serious damages to any other MS Character in game – but it must be used wisely.

Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme VS-Force will feature English text and subtitles but the audio will be presented in Japanese and it will see Mobile Suits from the entire Gundam franchise do battle with one another in open-area styled matches. Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme VS-Force will be available from the 12th July 2016 and will be released as digital download.
