Steins Gate 0 Announced for European Release

Publisher PQube continues to satisfy the needs of the European Japanese Anime Gaming Community as they have today announced that Steins Gate 0 will be released onto the PS4 and PS Vita later this year.

Developed by 5pb and Nitroplus Steins Gate 0 is another visual-novel styled game that attempts to replicate, and alter, the experience found within the original Steins Gate game. In this variation of the game players will find Rintaro Okabe has returned to the beta timeline and being unsuccessful in recusing a dear friend and as such encounters a brand new selection of characters which offer the possibility of bringing that said character to life. Obviously I am being as vague as possible; but this game is a ‘what if’ scenario expanded into a full storyline and it will see new characters, a common foe, and elements revolving around the mysterious Amadeus.

As it stands Steins Gate 0 does not have a European release date; but it will be localised in English (although audio will remain in Japanese) and released onto the PS4 and PS Vita by the end of this year. Pre-order listings for the PS4 and PS Vita versions are already available at Rice Digital (don’t forget you can save 5% with the code ABRUK5). Those attending the London MCM Comic Con this weekend will also be able to take a piece of Steins Gate 0 home with them as those who say the words “El Psy Kongroo” will be awarded with a Steins Gate 0 poster.
