The May 2016 London MCM Comic Con hasn’t even begun yet and already we are getting a taste of whats in store; as following on from yesterdays schedule line-up from MangaUK, Animatsu and Bandai Namco Entertainment we now have Anime Limited unveiling their schedule and it may possibly be the best one ever!
Throughout the weekend Anime Limited will be hosting four panels, in comparison to their usual two, a shop to purchase a selection of pre-release anime shows, an anaime screening room and plenty of announcements throughout the entire weekend. In short; Anime Limited will be ‘extremely’ busy this weekend and i get the feeling that so will we!
Panels:
Friday 27th May 2016, 5pm – Platinum Suite: All The Anime Keynote:
The first Anime Limited panel of the weekend will be the traditional announcement panel along with a Q&A Session shortly after. Anime Limited have teased that some important FullMetal Alchemist news will be announced; so I assume it will be a closer look at the previously announced Ultimate Edition.
Saturday 28th May 2016, 11am – Platinum Suite: EU Premiere of Gundam The Origin III + Panel featuring the Anime Guests Of Honour, Mobile Suit Gundam’s Mika Akitaka and Osamu Taniguchi: This particular panel will see the premiere of Gundam The Origin III as well as a Q&A Panel Mika Akitaka and Osamu Taniguchi once the film has finished. This panel is FREE to everyone who is attending the London MCM Comic Con.
Saturday 28th May 2016, 2pm – Gold Platinum: Anime Director Michael Arias panel
Michael Arias will be attending the MCM London Comic Con on the Saturday of the event and he’ll be having his own panel to discuss his career and more! You’ll even have your chance to put questions to him during this panel.
Sunday 29th May 2016, 11am – Platinum Suite: More All The Anime
On the final day of london MCM Comic Con Anime Limited will be hosting a second panel which will provide more new announcements as well as a round-up of content that have been revealed throughout the weekend. Once again a Q&A Session will take place with the team.
Booth:
Shop:
As with all MCM events the Anime Limited team will be having their own shop which will see their entire catalogue up for sale as well as early access to upcoming titles such as Sword Art Online II – Part 4, Lord Marksman and Vandis, and Assassination Classroom. Anime Limited have also teamed-up with Universal Pictures UK to offer Seraph of the End – Part 1 are a reduced price.
Screening-Room:
Throughout the weekend Anime Limited will have their own screening room at the booth whereby attendees can come and watch a variety of anime shows. A list of shows, and times, are to be announced.
Photo-Wall:
Areas of the Anime Limited booth will be modified to create photo-backgrounds for attendees and those who use the walls will be given freebies.
Competitions:
Throughout the weekend the booth will play host the competitions, both locally and online, that everyone can take part in with prizes up for grabs on those that win.
That is pretty much a run-down of what Anime Limited plans to do at the upcoming London MCM Comic Con and not only will it be extremely fun but it will also be a very busy weekend. Further details on what Anime Limited plan to do at the event can be found on their official blog.
