With just over a week to go until the London MCM Comic Con the UK Anime Distribution giants Manga Entertainment UK and Animatsu Entertainment have today revealed their plans of what attendees can expect from their presence at the event; and the results are quite exciting.
To start with MangaUK/Animatsu will have two panels throughout the entire weekend. The first panel will be a Q&A Session on Friday 27th May 2016, with the location and time To Be Announced shortly, while the announcement panel will take place at 3pm Saturday 28th May 2016 on the Bronze Stage. As always the announcement panel will see the distributor(s) reveal their new license announcements as well as provide updates to titles which have yet to be released by them.
Of course MangaUK/Animatsu won’t just be hosting panels at the event; as alongside their booth – which will have a variety of anime, and Rooster Teeth, products for sale at heavily reduced prices – will be a stage whereby attendees can take part in karaoke with a variety of Japanese songs from popular anime shows available for selection. A full list of songs available to sing at the event can be found on the official MangaUK blog with popular songs including We Are (One Piece), Dragon Soul (Dragon Ball Kai) and Crossing Field (Sword Art Online).
Finally the Community Team for MangaUK/Animatsu will be giving away on-the-spot prizes throughout the entire weekend. The idea is that the Community Team will share a message on Twitter, Facebook and Snapchat with a special passcode and attendees must find them at the event and saw the passcode in order to win some goodies.
Basically MangaUK / Animatsu’s presence at the upcoming London MCM Comic Con will be fun-filled and informative throughout the weekend; but there is also a more serious side on hand as On the Saturday 28th May 2016 they will be holding a fundraising raffle, of which all proceeds will be donated to the Kumamoto Japan Earthquake Relief Fund by Global Giving, whereby prizes will be given out in exchange for donations.
Further information surrounding MangaUK/Animatsu’s London MCM Comic Con plans can be found through their social channels and on their website.
