Tokyo Ghoul – Season 2 Collector’s Edition Blu-ray Details Confirmed


We’ve known for awhile that Anime Limited would release Tokyo Ghoul – Season 2, otherwise known as Tokyo Ghoul √A, as a collectors edition Blu-ray release but up until today we could only speculate what one might receive. In any event Anime Limited have today confirmed their release plans for this second season and if you own the Collectors Edition of the first season then you will be pleased with the results.

First of all this Collector’s Edition of Tokyo Ghoul – Season 1 will be limited to 1,000 units across all retailers and will come packaged in a rigid case with a digipack inside to hold the two Blu-ray discs alongside an 80-page hardback booklet. Much like the first season there will also be a transparent o-card to go around the rigid case, which adds a unique design to the overall package.


In regards to the actual disc content then fans will find episodes 1 to 12 in both English and Japanese audio alongside a hanful of bonus features such as cast commentaries and trailers; all of which will be spread across two Blu-ray discs.

Tokyo Ghoul – Season 2, otherwise known as Tokyo Ghoul √A, is currently scheduled for release on the 13th June 2016.
