Anime Limited Confirm Assassination Classroom – Season 1 Part 1 Release Plans

Anime Limited have today revealed that they will be releasing Assassination Classroom – Season 1 Part 1 on the 30th May 2016 as a Limited Edition Blu-ray and Standard Edition DVD within the UK.
The idea is that the Limited Edition variation of the Blu-ray will contain a chipboard artbox which will hold both Part 1 and Part 2, similar to the American FUNimation release of the series, as well as some art cards and a Kunugigaoka Academy Student Handbook & Student Diary. In retrospect it’s being released in a similar fashion to how Mobile Suit Gundam – Part 1 was released except this time the artbox are not limited ot 1,000 units.
Limited Edition Contents:
- Episodes 1-11 with both the English language dub and original Japanese audio with subtitles.
- Episodes commentaries for episodes 1 & 7
- The episode 0 OVA “Meeting Time”
- An interview with the cast
- Clean Opening and Closing title sequences
- Previews for the show
- Artbox that holds both Part 1 and Part 2
- Artcards
- Kunugigaoka Academy Student Handbook & Student Diary Booklet
Assassination Classroom – Season 1 Part 1 is currently scheduled for release on the 30th May 2016 as both a Limited Edition Blu-ray and Standard Edition DVD. It’s also expected that Anime Limited will have some units to sell at this months MCM London Comic Con event.
