Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization is the latest instalment into Bandai Namco Entertainment’s steadily increasing line of Sword Art Online games and while the publisher has been drip-feeding us information about the game we’ve never really seen much since it’s inital announcement. That is until today when a brand new gameplay trailer was released.
In Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization players once again take control of Kirito in the new online world known as Sword Art: Origin as he, and long-time friends Asuna, Silica, Lisbeth, Sinon, Strea, Philia and many more, attempt to unravel the mystery of this game and why NPC’s are suddenly not respawning once killed. This whole mystery becomes apparent when an emotionless NPC, simply known as Premire, makes herself known to Kirito and the group and as such a new adventure begins.
In this latest trailer released by Bandai Namco Entertainment we get an extensive look at what the game will offer; for starters up to eight players can play together at once – four of which will be online (player controlled) characters while another four characters are controlled by the AI, additionally just like in Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment Kirito can be fully customised to how players see fit. Although its not yet been confirmed, but it is illustrated in this new trailer, some gameplay features from both combat mechanics and ‘romance’ elements may make their return in this variation of the game.
Of course the biggest difference is that Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization, which is due to be released onto both the PS4 and PS Vita, will feature an entire new world to explore with updated visuals and characters models.; all of which can be seen in the latest trailer.
