FUNimation Titles Spotted on Amazon UK for Pre-Order

It seems FUNimation may be hoping to re-claim part of the home video market as eagle eyed listing spotters have noticed that Amazon UK have listed a selection of FUNimation licensed shows on Amazon UK for pre-order; with some being treated to a tenative release date.

Specifically Highschool DXD Born, Gonna Be Twin Tails, No-Rin, Daimidaler vs Penguin Empire, Rainy Coca and Mikagura School Suite have been listed for pre-order on the site with No-Rin currently scheduled for a 26th July 2016 release date; as seen in the screenshot of the listings below:

FUNimation haven’t announced any ‘home video’ releases for the UK market but considering FUNimation have launched a UK variation of its streaming service, and that the deal between MangaUK and FUNimation has come to an end; its not entirely surprising that the American distributor will try its hand at releasing products into the UK where possible.

In any event we will be keeping a close eye on this and maybe an announcement will be made at the upcoming MCM event.
