Anime Limited License Lucky Star, Harmony and Empire of Corpse’s for UK Blu-ray Release

Anime Limited must be coming to the MCM London Comic Con next month with some pretty big announcements as the UK Anime Distributor have today revealed that they will be bringing Lucky Star, Harmony and Empire of Corpses to the UK on Blu-ray.

The first announcement, which came at 4pm UK time, saw Empire of Corpses and Harmony being confirmed for Blu-ray and DVD release while the second announcement, which came at 8:30pm UK time, saw the distributor announce the Blu-ray arrival of Lucky Star. It’s an odd mixture of announcements, especially on an unimportant day – so its safe to assume that the distributor will have some big announcements to share at MCM next month.

Both Empire of Corpses, which has been announced for an 11th July 2016 release, and Harmony, which has been given a Q4 release date, will be released as Steelbook Edition Combo Packs, with standard editions to follow in the future, while Lucky Star will be released as a Collectors Edition Blu-ray during September.

Ever since Empire of Corpses was shown at MCM Loves Anime many speculated that the film would receive a UK Blu-ray and DVD release under the same label; of course the surprise of Lucky Star is a nice one but considering Anime Limited have similar shows – such as Haruhi – then its not entirely surpsing either.

Alongside these announcements listings have appeared on Amazon UK for a selection of upcoming Anime Limited titles, namely Zeta Gundam – Part 1, Claymore and Aldnoah Zero – Season 2 with suggested / template release details; which suggest that Anime Limited may confirm more details next month at the MCM London Comic Con.
