Home Video Release of Miss Hokusai Delayed Once Again

Miss Hokusai

Those looking forward to Miss Hokusai’s Collectors Edition Blu-ray release this coming Monday will be disappointed to learn that it has actually been delayed to an unspecified date; that is according to a press update from the PR firm Fetch Publicity.

Apologies for the short notice but due to unforeseen circumstances, the release date of Keiichi Hara’s Miss Hokusai has now been pushed back (originally planned for Monday 25th April on DVD, Blu-ray and Collector’s Edition).

We will let you know as soon as a new release date has been confirmed.

It’s currently unclear what has caused this delay; however its another delay on a title that has potentially seen more delays than your typical Kaze release. Some delays were technical issues, others were the delay in receiving assets and others were as of a result of the distributor extending its cinematic debut; but in any event Miss Hokusai won’t be coming to the UK on DVD or Blu-ray on Monday.

Ironically enough its not the first title to be delayed; as over the past few weeks Anime Limited have had to make release date changes to a wide variety of titles including A Letter to Momo, Psychic School Wars and Durarara!! X2 due to problems noticed during final stages of production.

In any event; a new release date for Miss Hokusai will be announced in the coming months but several retailers, including Amazon UK, have suggested a 16th November 2016 release.
