After weeks of speculation publisher NIS America have today announced that Pyscho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness, a visual-novel game based upon the anime TV series, will be available from the 16th September 2016 within the UK and Europe for the PS4, PS Vita and PC.

The game will also be released in America, for the same platforms, on the 13th September 2016. This means western fans will be able to experience this sci-fi themed visual novel all within the same week; which is a nice thing to happen for a game such as this.

In addition to the release date NIS America went on to reveal that Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness will also be treated to a Limited Edition version of the game; with this Limited Edition version containing the game, an art book, a soundtrack CD, a selection of pencil boards and a microfibre cloth. It’s a real ‘odd-ball’ of a collectors set, and it’s currently unclear if this Limited Edition set will be made available in Europe, but it does look nice.

Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness will be released for the PS4, PS Vita as both a physical and digital release; the PC version meanwhile will only be released as a digital download.
