Lord Marksman and Vanadis Collectors Edition Blu-ray and DVD Release Delayed

UK Distributor Anime Limited have today taken to their blog to reveal that Lord Marksman and Vanadis, which was previously due for release during April; will now be released on the 9th May 2016.

The reason for the delay is due to BBFC Certification, which is required by law for any title to be released into the UK, taking longer than initally expected. As a result of this Anime Limited have now moved the release date into may. It’s disappointing news, as the series looks quite interesting; but it can’t be helped.

An update on Lord Marksman and Vanadis. Unfortunately this has been pushed back until 9th May. The reason is an unusually long delay in the BBFC certification process. As it’s a requirement by UK law to have releases certified by the BBFC this is something we can’t bypass, hence the delay.

Pre-order listings for online retailers, such as Zavvi and Base, will be updated accordingly but some retailers, such as Amazon UK, already have the amended release date. In any event Lord Marksman and Vanadis will now be released on the 9th May 2016 as a Collectors Edition Blu-ray and Standard Edition DVD.
