CITV to Broadcast Pokemon The Movie 2000: The Power Of One This Weekend

It has come to my attention, thanks to a little channel-searching, that the Children’s Television Channel CITV will be showing Pokemon The Movie 2000: The Power of One on UK TV this weekend.

For those interested Pokemon 2000: The Power of One, otherwise known as the second Pokemon movie, will be broadcast on CITV at 9:25am with the film itself then appearing online to watch through the channels ITV Player. CITV is available on Freeview (122), Freesat (602) and Sky (622).

CITV previously broadcast the first pokemon movie, otherwise known as Pokemon the First Movie: Mewtwo Strike Back, last month – and is currently available on the ITV Player – so CITV must be showing a Pokemon film each month (or at least every few weeks) to celebrate the franchises 20th Anniversary.

These Pokemon movies have yet to receive a re-release in the UK on DVD (or Blu-ray); but DVD and Blu-ray variations of the film have been released in both Australia and America.
