One Piece: Burning Blood Receives a New Story Trailer

Now that One Piece: Burning Blood has a European release date publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment aren’t holding anything back when it comes to promoting the game; as over the past few days the publisher have released a new gameplay trailer which highlights some of the games story content.

As you may already be aware One Piece: Burning Blood is an arcade-styled fighting game developed by Spike Chunsoft, the developers of J-Star Victory VS, and will see notable character sfrom the One Piece timeline fighting it out in area styled fights similar to those found within J-Stars Victory VS. We’ve known for a while that it was going to be a fighting game featuring a small selection of characters; but what we didn’t know is that the game will come with its own story mode; and it seems, once again, the story will follow the events of the manga and anime series.

This latest trailer by Bandai Namco Entertainment however focuses on the Marineford, otherwise known as Paramount War, Story Arc which sees Luffy and co attempting to rescue Ace from a public execution. It’s a crucial moment within the One Piece universe and it’s one thats been seen a few times in recent videogames.

One Piece: Burning Blood will be released on the 3rd June 2016 within the UK (31st May 2016 for America) and will be available for the PS4, Xbox One and PS Vita.
