Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin III Pre-Order Campaign Arrives within the UK


Interestingly enough i somehow missed this announcement last week but Anime Limited have opened up pre-orders for the next instalment into the Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin series; and it’s known as Dawn of Rebellion.

Due for release in Japan in May 2016, with shipping from the UK to begin in June, this third film in the series will focus on Char during his time within the military. Just like with the previous two releases of the Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin this pre-order campaign will allow UK fans to purchase the Collectors Edition version of the film; a set which is usually exclusive to Japan and extremely costly to import.

The Collecters Edition of Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin III Contains:

  • Storage box illustrated by Yoshikazu Yasuhiko (32.8cm x 32.8cm)
  • Storyboards & setting art book (260 pages planned)*
  • Illustration sheet of the storage box illustration by Yasuhiko (planned to be box-sized)*
  • Cell & Line art illustrations book (10 pages planned)*
  • Sleeve (O-card) illustrated by Yasuhiko
  • Booklet featuring comic text by Yasuhiko (32 pages planned)*
  • Special booklet (12 pages planned)*
  • Staff & cast audio commentary*

*in Japanese only. (Content subject to change.)

Where as on Disc content will contain:

  • The main feature – Gundam The Origin III: Dawn Of Rebellion
  • Special Features (in Japanese only): Audio Commentary, Trailers, PV, TV-Commercial, Video of the salutations on stage at the  screening of Episode 2

The film itself will be presented in English and Japanese audio; where as the bonus features will be strictly Japanese only (but they may include English subtitles).
