Anime Limited Confirms Amendments to Q2 2016 Release Schedule

Release date alerations continue to plague Anime Limited as earlier in the week the UK Distributor took to their weekly newswire to reveal that a a selection of titles have had their dates changed; including both Selector Infected WIXOSS and Tokyo ESP.

Some titles have had their release dates pushed back while some titles, such as Reconguista in G, have been given a confirmed release date. You can find all of the details in the release schedule summary below:

  • Tokyo ESP has shifted to 28th March.
  • Durarara!! X2 – The First Arc: Shou has been pushed back to 25th April.
  • Letter To Momo has shifted to 11th April.
  • Selector Infected WIXOSS and Lord Marksman and Vanadis have both shifted to 18th April.
  • Expelled From Paradise and Psychic School Wars, both were marked previously as TBC and we can now confirm that these will be getting released on 9th May.
  • Gundam Reconguista in G Part 1, previously we mentioned it was TBC until further notice and today we’re happy to confirm it will be coming on 27th June.
  • Riddle – Story of Devil and Brothers Conflict have both been shifted to 27th June.

Along with the release date changes (and confirmations) for the second quarter of 2016 the UK Distributor went on to re-confirm its release schedule for the first quarter of 2016; all of which is laid out in the list below:

8th February: Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo (Limited Edition Blu-ray)
8th February – Mobile Suit Gundam Part 2 (Blu-ray)

28th March – Kill la Kill Part 1 (eps 1-9) standard edition (Blu-ray, DVD)
28th March – Miss Hokusai (Limited Collector’s Blu-ray+DVD, standard Blu-ray. standard DVD)
28th March – Sword Art Online II: Part 3 (Limited Collector’s Blu-ray+DVD, standard DVD)
28th March – Tokyo ESP (Limited Collector’s Blu-ray+DVD, standard DVD)

As always the release dates mentioned above are subject to change; but for the time being at least this is what the Q1 and Q2 release schedule will look like. Further information surrounding these releases can be found in the official Anime Limited newswire.
