Seraph of the End to be Released in the UK by Universal Pictures

Online listings have recently revealed that STUDIO WIT’s Seraph of the End will be coming to the UK in the form of a Collectors Edition Blu-ray and DVD release; with the first half of the series being released later this year.
Interestingly enough however the series will be distributed by Universal Pictures rather than Anime Limited who we previously assumed would release the series into the UK.
Due for release on the 23rd May 2016 this ‘Collectors Edition’ release will contain a 134 page book filled with interviews, character profiles and artwork (reprinting everything from the original Japanese release) along with artcards, a poster and a selection of trading cards that will be unique to this UK edition of the series. This particular release will feature the first tweleve episodes of the series, with the remaining episodes to be released in another Collectors Edition styled release in the near future.
Those wishing to pre-order this Collectors Edition set, otherwise known as Seraph of the End – Season 1 Part 1, can do so at Amazon (DVD / Blu-ray) and Zavvi (DVD / Blu-ray); with the current release date set for the 23rd May 2016. Further details surrounding this release, and the second half, will be revealed in due time; but for the time being it’s something to look forward to within the UK anime community.
