Sword Art Online II – Part 2 Release Date Slips by Two Weeks

Following on from last week’s announcement of Sword Art Online II – Part 2 have a confirmed UK Release Date the UK Anime Distributor, Anime Limited, have now revealed that the set won’t be released until the 28th December 2015; which is a two week delay from its previous ‘confirmed’ release date.

Specifics of the delay were not mentioned; but according to a recent update on the Anime Limited Newswire the delay was “unavoidable”. Of course we aren’t going to speculate but the set is still coming.

In other, relatively disappointing, news the newswire also confirmed that the RRP (Recommended Retail Price) for the Terror In Resonance – Ultimate Edition will be £99.99 with pre-orders now available from Amazon UK.  The Ultimate Edition will contain both the Blu-ray and DVD variations of the show with a 200-page artbook; all of which will be packaged similar to the upcoming release of Full Metal Panic – Ultimate Edition, which we unboxed here.

The combination of the ‘heavy price tag’ and lack of value has put some concerns into the public, including mine as i wasn’t too pleased with the overall Full Metal Panic set, so it will be interesting to see where things go.
