Following on from it’s announcement earlier in the year publisher Bandai Namco Games Europe have today revealed that Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth will be released onto the PS4 and PS Vitafrom the 5th February 2016 and it will come with a whole host of bonus Day 1 DLC Content.
Those who purchase the ‘Day 1 Edition’ of Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth will receive access to “Hero Costumes” for Agumon as well as access BlackAgumon, BlackGabumon, Beelzebumon and Cherubion as usable characters within the game.
For those unaware Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth is the Japanese-Role-Playing-Game that sees players able to collect, train and battle digimon while attempting to uncover an evil threat in the Digital World. The premise is that the main protagonist, known as Takumi Aiba (if you play as a Boy) or Ami Aiba (if you play as a girl), find themselves recruited by the Kuremi Detective Agency in order to stop unknown hacking attempts on the net which turn out to be caused by Digimon.
It’s an interesting story and it’s a long-over-due return to RPG themed Digimon games which, as of recent years, seem to be lacking when coming to the UK and Europe. As it stands however Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth will be coming to the PS4 and PS Vita on the 5th February 2016. The game will receive a phsyical release on the PS4 while the PS Vita version will be a digital download only.
