Unboxing: Viewster OMAKASE Beta Box

Over the past few months the free on-demand-streaming service Viewster have been revealing plans for it’s OMAKASE Subscription service; a subscription model which, unlike Crunchyroll and Animax UK, will offer bi-monthly loot-crate-styled boxes along with its advertisement free streaming service.

Well in order to promote the service, and guage interest in the anime community, Viewster sent out a selection of Beta Boxes to the public (and press) so we thought it would be a good idea to show what you will get for your money.

The Beta Box, as the name implies, is a demonstration of what you can expect to receive every two months when you become a full fledged member of the service; a box which will contain at least five premium items, exclusive content and other items.

As this is a beta box we weren’t treated to any digital goodies, like those mentioned at the MCM Comic Panel last month, but as the theme was Back to School we did get treated to numerous school related items such as Love Live Notebook, School Basketball themed Plush toy and some exclusive ‘school-related’ art; all of which you can see in our unboxing video below.

Viewster’s OMAKASE Service will cost around £32 every two months for a box of exclusive content (with hassle-free-shipping) and ad-free streaming. In the meantime regular streaming is available on the service.
