Akame Ga Kill – Part 1 Collectors Edition Bundle Announced for UK

It’s been several months since Animatsu Entertainment revealed they had the UK Distribution license to Akame Ga Kill and yet since then we have heard very little about it… that is until now.

It turns out that Animatsu Entertainment will be releasing the series in two ‘half-season-sets’ with the first part being released on the 8th March 2016 – which is most likely a placeholder date – as a Deluxe Collectors Edition. Unlike previously released collectors edition sets we can expect a handful of physical products; including a hardcover book and a rigid chipboard artbox.akame-ga-kill-part1-collectors
The Collector’s Edition will include:

  • Hard Cover Booklet
  • Tattoos
  • Sticker
  • Poster
  • 3 DVD Discs
  • 2 Blu-ray Discs
  • Rigid Outer Box
  • On Disc Extras: AkaKill! Theater; Japanese Promos; Clean Opening Animation; Clean Closing Animation

A standard DVD release of Akame Ga Kill – Part 1 will also be released alongside this ‘Collectors Edition Combo-Pack’ and it is currently available to pre-order from Amazon UK.

For the time being at least this Collectors Edition release of Part 1 is available to pre-order from selective online retailers, such as Amazon UK, but for the time being it will set you back £86. An RRP has not been communicated but its most likely this price will creep down within the next few weeks.

Akame Ga Kill – Part 1 will be available within the UK from the during March 2016 via Animatsu Entertainment; although we believe this date to be a placeholder and as such it could change within the next few weeks.
