Our latest unboxing is non-other than the relatively old Limited Edition release of Durarara!! – The Complete Series on Blu-ray which, if you are planning to pick this up, does have issues as we mentioned in our review last year.

The issues themselves revolve around missing subtitles across episodes when watching in both English and Japanese; but if you did purchase this particular release you can request replacements from Anime Limited which fix all of the issues we mentioned.

In regards to this Limited Edition release of the series than is actually pretty good. The series is presented in a chipboard artbox with the discs themselves housed in carded sleeves that fold out, or as i say “the box-sets of old days”, and each disc features some corresponding artwork with the casing that its attached to. It’s basically one long piece of artwork that all blends together.

In addition to the artbox and is unique packaging style is a selection of artcards with each set of artcards being numbered – as it was a ‘limited’ release – each of which slide nicely into the overall package for better presentation. All in all the Limited Edition release of Durarara!! is one of my favourite Anime Limited releases to date; mainly because the packaging looks nice and it all fits rather snug.

Durarara!! – Complete Series (Limited Edition Blu-ray) is available to purchase from online retailers within the UK.
