Dragon Ball Z: Super Butoden 2 Offered as Pre-Order Bonus for Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden

In a surprising, but interesting, turn of events publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment are offering European Nintendo 3DS players the chance to pre-order (and pre-purchase) Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden from the Nintendo 3DS eShop; and by doing so they will also gain access to the Japanese SNES game Dragon Ball Z: Super Butoden 2.

By pre-ordering the game through the Nintendo 3DS eShop, which is currently priced at £29.99, players will automatically receive access to Dragon Ball Z: Super Butoden 2; a fighting game with similar gameplay mechanics to the upcoming Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden. This particular SNES title has only ever been released in Japan and it sees Gohan, Vegeta, Goku, Broly, Bojack, Cell and other unique fighters as playable characters with a story that spans the second-half of the Dragon Ball Z timeline.

This ‘pre-order’ offer also extends to retail markets; as anyone pre-ordering the game at retail will also gain access to Dragon Ball Z: Super Butoden 2 – the difference being is that they will have to wait till launch day in order to play it.

Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden 2 is available to pre-order right now as both a digital download and a retail cartirdge; with the game itself due for release on the 16th October 2015 within the UK and Europe.
