Viewster Adds .Hack// Sign, .Hack//Roots and .Hack//Legend of the Twilight To its Streaming Catalogue

Following on from a potential clue earlier in the month Viewster have today announced that .Hack//Sign, .Hack//Roots and .Hack//Legend of the Twilight are all now available to stream on the service within the UK and Europe.

That’s not the only good news either; as each series is available in both English and Japanese with English Subtitles; so you can choose to watch it in whichever audio version you prefer – although the English Dub will spark some nostalgia to those who had the, now-out-of-print, Beez Entertainment DVD releases.

For those unaware Viewster is a completely free, but ad-supported, streaming service whereby you can watch a variety of Simulcasts, and back catalogue titles, without paying a monthly subscription. The service is also available for Android and iOS devices and an Xbox 360 App is also available.

Say does anime releases on Viewster will eventually get an bluray release?

    • Scott says:

Viewster is a ‘streaming service’ and do not release DVD and Blu-rays. Some of the titles on the streaming service are already available on Blu-ray (such as Durarara, Bakemonogatari and Fate/Zero).

Viewster does have a partnership with Anime Limited whereby Anime Limited will license shows for the UK and Viewster will broadcast them on their service. These titles will then receive a Blu-ray (and DVD) release next year.
