Marvelous Europe, publisher of titles such as Senran Kagura: Shinovi Versus and Lord of Magna: Maiden Heaven, have recently announced that they will be bringing Corpse Party: Blood Drive to the PS Vita within the UK and Europe later this year; more specifically on Halloween.
Corpse Party: Blood Drive is considered as the ‘final instalment’ into the current Corpse Party trilogy, with Corpse Party (2010) and Corpse Party: Book of Shadows (2013) being titles that proceeded blood drive. In this instalment of the game players will control both individual characters and groups of characters as they go around exploring Heavenly Host Elementary school and solving any mysteries that lie in wait. The major difference surrounding this ‘instalment’ of the franchise is that it is the first Corpse Party game to be developed with full 3D models; and thus allows more options for exploration and trap setting.
Further details surrounding Corpse Party: Blood Drive will be unveiled in due time; but for the time being Marvelous Europe is allowing European users to pre-order the game through their specially designed website. The site currently lists the standard edition version of the game for £29.99 while a Collectors Edition version, which includes a copy of the soundtrack, is priced at £44.99. Whichever version you choose they will be shipped directly to you in time for release day later this year.
Will they be releasing the first two?
The first two games are already available to download from the PSN Store. The first game was released onto the PSP and the second game was released onto the PS Vita
