Return to the World of Sword Art Online with these New Gameplay Trailers


Earlier in the year Bandai Namco Entertainment announced that this year would see two Sword Art Online titles released onto the PS4; the first of which, Sword Art Online: Re-Hollow Fragment, is an updated version to the previously released PS Vita game while the second, Sword Art Online: Lost Song, is its direct sequel. Interestingly however no gameplay trailers were shown; but that all changed today thanks to the distributors presence at E3 2015.

Sword Art Online: Re-Hollow Fragment (PS4) (Summer 2015) *DIGITAL ONLY*:

Sword Art Online: Re-Hollow Fragment is a PS4 Re-master of the previously released ‘PS Vita exclusive’ Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment whereby after the final boss was defeated players still remain trapped within the game and now they must progress forward from floor 75 to floor 100 to escape. It’s a brand new twist on a familiar storyline; but thats not all thats on offer.

Sword Art Online: Lost Song (PS4 & PS Vita) (FALL 2015):

A new Sword Art Online adventure begins and resumes the SAO story in a new direction; Take flight in the world of Alfheim Online and join Kirito, Leafa, Asuna and the rest of the party in a brand world of fantasy and action that sees aerial combat and fairies introduced into the SAO universe.

Further details surrounding price and release dates will be confirmed in due course; additionally the Sword Art Online anime series is currently available on Blu-ray and DVD through Manga Entertainment UK whereas its second season, Sword Art Online II, will be released on DVD and Blu-ray in August.
