I checked the link for this and the formatting for the region still only says A/1 and I don’t want to purchase it only to have it not work. Is the information on this site absolutely certain that it’ll work on UK dvd players?

    • Scott Emsen says:

Region information displayed on ‘always’ says Region A/1 as that is the region for America discs.

Amazon very rarely list the ‘actual’ region of the discs. If you click on the ‘boxart’ section of the article you’ll notice that the back of the box states Region B and 2 compatible.

Okay. That’s great. Thank you for confirming my thoughts and thus, reassurin my that my purchase is not in vain. I didn’t realise Amazon would stoop that low tbh. If they’re not showing the true region for the discs. It just seems like unnecessary fretting for people who live elsewhere but actually wish to purchase the item. I actually bought both Highschool DxD new and Freezing Vibrations bc of your posts, together. It’s nice to know that even if some anime are released partially to the world that the likelihood is that they’ll be playable in your Region too. Thanks again for your patience.
