Unboxing: Robotics Notes – Part 2 (Blu-ray / DVD Combo Pack) [US]

The second half of Robotics Notes has been available in America for quite some time, so much so that its even been a while since the UK version of the set was released (heck we even reviewed it), and since i’m short on time i thought i’d publish this unboxing today rather than talk about something new (that will come later).

Anyway lets recap; the american Blu-ray / DVD Combo Pack release of Robotics Notes – Part 2, which is Region Free for both the DVD and Blu-ray, features the remaining episodes spread across four discs and a wealth of bonus materials included on them – all of which are presented in High Definition and, as you’d expect, in top form; however while this may be the case the packaging leaves more than to be desired.

The packaging, which is exactly the same style and design of that as the first half – but with a different character, sees the minimalistic approach with only the logo and character on the front with a wealth of information on the back. The disc artwork isn’t “that great” either and just features a solid static colour with the logo. It’s nothing fancy; but it all seems to work quite well.

This American Blu-ray / DVD Combo Pack version of Robotics Notes – Part 2 is now available within America; however the set is available in the UK from Manga UK on both DVD and Blu-ray – more importantly this series was released ‘before’ the woeful disc issues appeared; so the set is perfectly fine.
