Anime Limited Makes ‘Massive’ Release Date Alterations to it’s March 2015 Line-Up

Things never seem to run smoothly for Anime Limited, especially when it comes to their release schedules, however things have never been as bad as this. If you read the recent Anime Limited newswire then you may already be aware of what i’m going to say; but the sad news is that every single one of Anime Limited’s March releases has been altered in some shape or form.
For starters Kill La Kill – Part 2, which was scheduled for a 16th March 2015 release date has now been pushed back until the 23rd March 2015 due to the final artwork not being approved; however even more bad news arrives when this ‘new date’ is also a template and could change at any time.
The second delay comes in the form of the Makoto Shinkai: Place Promised In our Early Days/Voices Of A Distant Star Twin Pack, a release which has constantly been hit by delays every since it was announced. This new delay is due to issues in getting the English Audio assets from the original rights holders and because of this the set has now been delayed to an ‘to be confirmed‘ release date.
The third and final delay revolves around the upcoming Collectors Edition release of Wings Of Honneamise; as due to a delay in production the set has now been pushed back into mid-april, with a release date yet again ‘to be confirmed‘ at a later date.
Now if these delays are enough to disappoint you then you’ll be extremely annoyed at this news; as Anime Limited have now opted to cancel the standard edition release of Tiger & Bunny: The Beginning and release it as a twin-movie pack with Tiger & Bunny: The Rising. This means that Tiger & Bunny: The Rising will be released as a collectors edition combo pack as well as a standard edition twin-movie pack. Both of these versions of the film are expected to be available on the 27th April 2015.
The only ‘shred’ of comfort is that Anime Limited plans to bring the standard edition release of Hal forward; but yet again a new date has not been mentioned. As you can see it’s one big “shake-up” for Anime Limited releases next month; but in short everything is to be confirmed and may be subject to change; although at least we will be kept informed of any changes.
