Warner Bros UK have recently announced that the third and final instalment into the live-action Rurouni Kenshin films, entitled Rurouni Kenshin: The Legend Ends, will be getting a limited run in cinemas next month.

Starting on the 6th March 2015 fans of the live-action movie series will be able to see the film in selective cinemas across the UK. While details on the locations (and times) have not yet been revealed we can only assume it will be similar locations (and times) to that of the previous film.

While we don’t know any ‘screening details’ Warner Bros UK have provided us with a general synopsis of the film along with a link the films official trailer.

In the final chapter, Shishio (Tatsya Fujiwara) has set sail in his ironclad ship to bring down the Meiji government and return Japan to chaos, carrying Kaoru (Emi Takei) with him. After jumping overboard into the sea, Kenshin (Takeru Sato) is saved by his former mentor, Hiko Seijuro (Masaharu Fukuyama) and in order to stop Shishio in time, Kenshin enlists the help of his old master to train for the ultimate battle between hero and villain in an epic blood-drenched showdown!

Rurouni Kenshin: The Legend Ends will be available in selective cinemas from the 6th March 2015, with further details to be confirmed in the coming weeks.
