Unboxing: Fairy Tail – Part 10 (Blu-ray / DVD Combo Pack) [USA]

Fairy Tail continues to move swiftly along and today i’ll be taking a look at the American Blu-ray and DVD Combo Pack release of Fairy Tail – Part 10; a set which was originally released within America back in May 2014 and, disappointingly, was the last american Fairy Tail set to be Region B Compatible.

I won’t go into details of the storyline, although it does continue the Tenrou Tree arc of the franchise; but what i will say is that this American Blu-ray and DVD Combo Pack set continues to use the same bland and simplistic disc artwork as seen in Parts 5 through to 9 – whereby a single colour is used on the disc and as such text and images become hard to read.

In hindsight it’s exactly the same style and design as previous installmets but even so a few minor differences can be spotted – such as the inclusion of Carla on the reverse sleeve instead of Happy. To be blunt its the same layout just different ‘character artwork’ and ‘episode content’ – which is all you could really ask for as it matches the other sets on the shelf.

Fairy Tail – Part 10 (Blu-ray / DVD Combo Pack) is now available within America, whereas the UK version, which is assumed to be DVD only, is expected to be released in 2015; although release details have yet to be confirmed.
