MangaUK Unboxes Yu-Gi-Oh! – Season 1 in New Video

Jeremy Graves, the community liason for Manga Entertainment UK, has recently released a new video on Manga Entertainment’s Youtube Channel whereby he unboxes the recently released Yu-Gi-Oh! – Season 1 DVD Set.

As you’d expect the unboxing provides a good overview of what to expect from the ‘Pshyical’ product; but more interestingly is that MangaUK will be doing ‘first-print-runs’ of the set. As explained in the video the first print-run of Yu-Gi-Oh! DVD releases will come in a carded sleeve and feature two amaray DVD cases with reversible sleeves, while later releases will just be a single plastic case – similar to complete seasons of Black Butler, XAM’D etc.

Whats interesting about this is that the spines of the packaging, when combined with other first-print-runs of other releases, will see Exodius – The Forbidden one on one side and an image of Yugi on the other spine. Furthermore the reversible sleeves make it so that Logos and volume information are not present on the discs.

It sounds confusing; but you’ll understand when you watch the video. Yu-Gi-OH! – Season 1 is now available on DVD within the UK.
