Yu-Gi-Oh! – Season 1 Coming to Netflix UK Tomorrow

The official Yu-Gi-Oh! website have today announced that the first season of Yu-Gi-Oh!, which is being released on DVD by Manga Entertainment UK on the 17th November 2014, will be available to stream on Netflix UK starting from tomorrow.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Season 1 (English) will be available beginning tomorrow, November 1st, in the United Kingdom, Canada, Ireland and the United States.

This means that Yu-Gi-Oh! fans within the UK will be able to re-experience the iconic series before it’s released on DVD as well as potentially drag-in newcomers who have yet to witness the original series.

Additionally the post carried on to say that further Yu-Gi-Oh! series will be released in local languages (such as English) and in subtitle forms over the coming months:

We will be rolling out additional series, local language versions and subtitled series in the coming months on various digital platforms. This rollout will include international streaming on Yugioh.com.

This could ‘potentially’ mean that both the original 4Kids Edit and the Uncut Japanese version of Yu-Gi-Oh! will become available on Netflix; although at this time it is just speculation. It also suggests that further seasons within the original Yu-Gi-Oh! Series, and potentially other Yu-Gi-Oh! related series including Yu-Gi-Oh! GX, Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s and Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal, may be added in the further; but yet again this is just speculation.

For now though the first season of Yu-Gi-Oh! will be available to Netflix subscribers on the 1st november 2014, which is tomorrow, while it’s DVD release is expected to be available on the 17th November 2014 within the UK via Manga Entertainment UK.
