Even thoughthe seventh season of Dragon Ball Z is soon to be released within America on Blu-ray we have only just decided to get around to unboxing the third season; mainly because it took awhile to arrive through the post but more importantly because we’ve had other stuff to do; eitherway if you are considering picking up the US Blu-ray release of Dragon Ball Z – Season 3 then here is what you can expect.

Just like with the previous two seasons this third set comes with 32 episodes spread out across four blu-ray discs; each of which have been remastered in 1080p widescreen and bring the Frezia saga to it’s explosive conclusion. In regards to the packaging and layout it’s pretty much the same as previous sets; however the real “party trick” is that when combined with season 1 and 2 it creates an impressive artwork detailing the first three seasons of the franchise in a single image.

The outer packaging is obviously the best part of the box-art, as while there is a few other “amusing” factors, such as white dots on the side of the packaging indictating what season it is,  there is no artwork on the discs themselves or any reverse artwork. It’s simple, it’s basic and considering the reasonable price point ($25 per set) you couldn’t really ask for anymore.

Dragon Ball Z – Season 3 is now available within America on Blu-ray; alternatively a DVD version of the series (originally created back in 2006) is available on DVD in the UK.
