But Madoka’s life is turned upside down when she is suddenly asked by a mysterious girl named Lan to pilot a robot. Motivated by her desire to protect the people and city of Kamogawa, Madoka agrees to pilot the resurrected Vox robot to fight against extraterrestrials that have come to attack Earth.
So region free in your view is the use of ‘press Disc Menu / Top Menu you will be taken to the Main Menu and everything will operate as normal’ right? So its not region B?
My view of a disc being ‘region free’ (or Region B compatible) is when a disc plays in a UK Blu-ray player without any interaction from the user.
But you are correct, if you do not press the “title menu” button then the disc would NOT play on UK (region B players), However the reason I classed this disc ‘region free’ (as well as a few others) is that the disc content works perfectly fine after pressing the title menu, which personally is a habbit I do often to skip past logos and trailers – even on UK releases.
Ah I see. Does Lagrange – Season 2 have that function?
thanks
Lagrange S2 was released around the time Accel World was , and since AW isn’t “bugged” like Lagrance S1 and Nura S1, we should assume that VIZ finally managed to fix this ‘Top Menu Button’ bug on their disks. The same happened with Sentai Filmworks.
