Anime Limited, or more commonly known as as All The Anime, have today revealed their second Kickstarter campaign, this time it is for the upside-down film Patema Inverted.

As you may already be aware Patema Inverted will be shown in Cinemas across the UK later this week, but in the meantime Anime Limited are working hard in the background in order to create a home video release of the film, and this is where the kickstarter campaign comes into effect.

Anime Limited are looking to secure £16,000 so that a Standard, Collectors Edition and Ultimate Edition of Patema Inverted could be created, with the Ultimate Edition being exclusive to the Kickstarter campaign. That’s not all as the Ultimate Edition will only be limited to 1,500 copies, thus making it the ideal collectors item.

Here is a rundown of what you can expect from each version:

Standard: (RRP: £19.99)

Each Edition is available as a Reward Tier for the Kickstarter Project, with the Standard priced at £16, Collectors Edition priced at £22 and Ultimate Edition priced at £40 (£35 is early).  Those who support the campaign will not only receive the film early, but will receive it at a slightly discounted price and some additional perks.

It’s an interesting way for an Anime Distributor to ‘sell a film’ but at the same time it means that anime fans receive their product quicker and feel more part of the process.

The Kickstarter Campaign itself will start on the 2nd May 2014 and end around a month later, furthermore Anime Limited hope to have the item sent out by the end of September, so there won’t be ‘that long’ left to wait once it finishes either.
