Kix TV To Broadcast Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal from 14th April

The first season of Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal may have recently ended on Cartoon Network UK, but that doesn’t stop CSC Media from ‘also’ picking up the UK broadcast rights to the series, as from the 14th April 2014 free-to-air satellite TV channel Kix TV will be showing the series on a daily basis.

Starting on the 14th April 2014, and shown on a daily basis at 5:30pm, Kix TV will be airing the latest (English Dubbed) series of Yu-Gi-Oh!, starting from the very first episode. It’s unclear how many episodes Kix TV will show, but it’s assumed that the entire first season will be shown with new episodes being shown on a daily basis.

Kix TV are also running promotional adverts on their TV Channel informing viewers that the series is ‘coming soon’ but its the official Kix TV website listings that give away and confirmed it’s broadcast date.

For those unaware, Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal is a series that features new characters, new cards and new abilities, however the objective of becoming the ‘duellist champion’ still remains the same. In Zexal viewers follow the story of aspiring young duelist Yuma Tsukumo, who, after attempting to defeat his arch rival in a duel, encounters a mysterious duel spirit called Astral. Astral is currently looking for his lost memories, which are currently stored in the form of new Xyz dueling Cards. After enlisting the help of Yuma and his friends, they now begin a quest to find all of the Xyz cards as well as allowing Yuma to continue chasing his dream of becoming duellist champion.

If you were unable to view Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal when it was aired on Cartoon Network UK then now is the perfect time to catch up, as anyone who owns a Sky (627) or Freesat (606) box will be able to watch the series.
