CITV To Broadcast Digimon Fusion Next Week

It’s been quite a while since Digimon appeared on a free-to-view UK Channel, but that’s about to change as CITV (the dedicated Childrens ITV channel) have announced that they will be showing the latest Digimon series, Digimon Fusion, starting from next week.

Starting on Monday 24th February 2014 Digimon Fusion will be aired weekdays (Monday to Friday) at 7:15am, with the same episode repeated again at 12:55pm. Digimon Fusion will run alongside repeated episodes of Pokémon: Battle Dimension and Redakai; Conquer the Kairu, both of which have ‘anime’ related origins.

Digimon Fusion, also known in Japan as Digimon: Xros Wars, follows the story of Mikey Kudou who utilizes the power of joining together Digimon in order to save the Digital World. It’s an alternate Digimon experience (especially compared to the original series) but it has received popular attention in Japan.

Either way Digimon Fusion will begin broadcasting on CITV (Freeview Channel 72, Sky Channel 621) from the 24th February 2014 and a new episode will be shown every weekday.
