Unboxing: Fairy Tail – Part 6 (Blu-ray / DVD Combo Pack) [USA]

The sixth instalment into the Fairy Tail franchise be available on both DVD and Blu-ray within the UK later this month, but we’ve decided to unbox the American “Combo Pack” to see what it offers.

As with previous “Fairy Tail” volumes this sixth instalment features two DVD discs and two Blu-ray discs, creating a total of four discs within one DVD case. This particular set, as you’ll find out in our Part Six review later this month, features 12 episodes that continue the Fairy Tail storyline, in this case concluding the Oración Seis storyline arc.

Interestingly there is nothing new here in this Combo Pack set, everything is laid out identical to the previous part five instalment, including the disc artwork which uses cheap bland colouring as opposed to detailed artwork (like in Parts 1 to 4), but at least the detail is superb on the Blu-ray, which is all that matters.

Fairy Tail – Part 6 (Blu-ray / DVD Combo Pack) is now available within America, however i’d advise holding off for the UK Release as the artwork (especially disc artwork) will be better and the physical content will be exactly the same. The UK release of Fairy Tail – Part 6 is currently slated for the 24th February 2014.
