According to a press release published on BulbaNews the UK free-to-view TV Channel “CITV” will be broadcasting the latest Pokémon movie on the same day as the US Cartoon Network channel broadcasts it, furthermore the two episodes from the Pokémon XY TV Series will be shown over the same weekend with the remaining XY episodes being shown next year.
For those unaware the latest Pokémon movie, Pokémon Movie 16: Genesect and the Legend Awakened, see’s a mega-level (Awakened state) Mewtwo go up against Genesect that are causing mischief and destruction within the city and, as always, Ash, Pikachu, Cilan and Iris must step-in to help.
The 16th Pokémon movie will be shown at 9:25am on Saturday 19th October 2013 (a day after my birthday) with the first Pokémon XY episode shown straight after it at 11:35am with the second Pokémon XY episode shown on Sunday 20th October 2013 at 11:35am. These two XY episodes will act as a ‘Sneek Peak’ of things to come, with the remaining XY Episodes being shown next year on the same channel.
It’s also worth pointing out that the 15th Pokémon Moive (Pokémon: Kyurem Vs the Sword of Justice) will be broadcast on CITV this Saturday (14th September 2013) at 9:25am which ties into the current ‘Pokémon: Black & White’ series that is currently being shown on CITV.
I just looked on the TV guide on Sky and I can’t see it, are you sure you got the right date?
Never mind, I just read again and saw it says October. My bad, don’t know how to delete comments.
I look at my TV guide on citv but the 16 wasn’t on there for the 19th of October
TV Listings and the SKY TV Guide are usually only available a week in advance. I’d recommend checking again on Monday 14th October 2013. Furthermore it may not be listed as ‘Pokémon movie 16″ – it might be listed as Pokémon Movie or Pokémon Genesect Legend Awakened.
