MVM Reveals Bakemonogatari Blu-ray Release Dates via Online Listings

Earlier in the year MVM Entertainment announced that Bakemonogatari would be released on Blu-ray and DVD, several days after the announcement pre-orders for the DVD editions became available, but no Blu-ray editions of the release were in sight.
Well recently MVM Entertainment, via their online store Anime-On-Line, have listed the Bakemonogatari Blu-ray’s up for Pre-Order, with the first set being released on the 26th August 2013, which is over two months after its initial DVD Release. It’s a similar story with the second half of the series, as the Blu-ray for Part 2 will be released on the 23rd September 2013.
It’s unclear why there is such a huge gap between the DVD and Blu-ray releases (most likely a licensing issue) but at least we now have confirmed dates for the Blu-ray release of Bakemonogatari.
Bakemonogatari Part 1 will be available on Blu-ray from the 26th August 2013 while Part 2 will be available on Blu-ray from the 23rd September 2013.
