MVM Acquries ‘Another’ for Blu-ray and DVD Release within the UK

MVM Entertainment has today announced, via the official blog, that they acquried the rights to distribute the TV Anime ‘Another’ onto Blu-ray and DVD within the UK.

For those who haven’t heard of Another, it is a story that revolves around Kōichi Sakakibara, a transfer student who has recently began attending class at  Yomiyama Middle School, However it’s not long after arriving at Yomiyama before students at the school start to meet grisly and unexpected deaths at the hands of a mysterious curse. It’s now up to Kōichi, and the mysterious classmate, Mei to discover the truth behind the curse and to see if the death of a student in 1972 has anything to do with these mysterious events.

Another will be released as a Complete Series Boxset on both DVD & Blu-ray, it will feature both an English Dub track as well as the original Japanese Audio, with English Subtitiles. Additionally the release will also include the Bonus OVA Episode, entitled Episode 0.

An estimated price or release date has yet to be revealed, however MVM Entertainment has stated that it will be released during 2013.
