UK Release of Oblivision Island Delayed by One Week due to Production Issues

Manga Entertainment UK has today confirmed, via a series of tweets on Twitter, that upcoming Production I.G. Film, Oblivion Island: Haruka And The Magic Mirror, has been delayed for release until the 1st April 2013 within the UK.
According to the Tweets the delay was caused by a production error at the factory and it was unavoidable to not delay the release, additionally online retailers, such as Amazon UK, will shortly be amending their listings to reflect the change in release date.

It’s not un-common for release dates to slip, especially in the media industry, however its not usually down to a production issue, either way at least it has only been delayed by one week rather than one month.
Oblivion Island: Haruka And The Magic Mirror will ‘now’ be released as Blu-ray & DVD Combo Pack as well as DVD on the 1st April 2013.
