Manga UK to Release Fullmetal Alchemist – The Conqueror of Shamballa as standalone Blu-ray and DVD

It has been revealed, via an updated pre-order listing on Anime-On-Line, that Manga Entertainment UK’s release of Fullmetal Alchemist – The Conqueror of Shamballa will be re-released later in the year as a stand alone Blu-ray and DVD.

Currently the Movie is only available pre-order (buy) as part of the Fullmetal Alchemist Movie Double Pack, which features both the original movie (Conqueror of Shamballa) and the Brotherhood movie (Sacred Star of Milos) in a unique Blu-ray or DVD Double Pack – a similar approach to the previously released Naruto Shippuden Movie Double Pack & Summer Wars / Girl Who Leapt Through Time Double Pack.

What this means is that fans now have the option of either buying the movies on their own or within the Double Pack – but if you intended on getting both movies the Double Pack currently offers the better value for money.

The stand alone Fullmetal Alchemist: Conqueror of Shamballa movie will be released on Blu-ray and DVD on the 17th December 2012, where as the Fullmetal Alchemist Movie Double Pack will be released on Blu-ray and DVD much earlier on the 3rd September 2012.
